23/ International Referee Course Kicks Off in Amman To Develop Local Competencies
Amman, April 10 (Petra) – An international referee course, organized by the Jordan Football Association (JFA), in collaboration with FIFA, kicked off on Thursday in Amman and will run until next Sunday. Supervised by Spanish international expert, David Fernandez, the event offers diverse theoretical and practical sessions, designed to enhance the participants' skills and keep pace with the "latest" developments in football-related laws. With 31 referees in attendance, the course is part of the JFA’s ongoing effort to cultivate a "new" generation of skilled referees, said a JFA statement. This initiative, which applies the JFA's methodology over the past two years, aims at training young referees to increase their "efficiency" to officiate matches at national and international levels. //Petra// AO
