9/ Ayla Hosts Third Round of 2025 Jordan Golf League in Aqaba
Aqaba, April 10 (Petra) -- The third round of the 2025 Jordan Golf League commenced on Thursday at the Ayla Golf Club in Aqaba, bringing together 40 players to compete across six categories over two days. Organized by the Jordan Golf Federation, this round features competitions in the Veterans, Elite, Juniors (under 18 for both boys and girls), Academy Players, Seniors, and the Team League, which consists of six rounds. The updated competition structure, adopted at the beginning of the year, aims to increase competitiveness and engagement across all divisions. President of the Jordan Golf Federation, Kareem Barghouthi, highlighted the noticeable improvement in players' performance and the heightened level of competition as the league progresses. He emphasized the importance of the domestic league in preparing players for international tournaments, particularly the upcoming Arab Championship scheduled to take place in Cairo early next month. Barghouthi also acknowledged the strategic partnership with Ayla Oasis Development Company, praising its continued support for the federation and its role in providing the technical and logistical foundation necessary to host league rounds at a high standard. Commenting on the event, Ayla’s Director of Public Relations Mansour Kabariti noted that the 2025 edition of the Jordan Golf League reflects the company’s commitment to advancing the country’s sports sector.
