  13/ Civil Defense Responds to Over 1,600 Incidents Within 24 Hours

Amman, April 23 (Petra) – The Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) responded to 1,604 reports across the Kingdom over the past 24 hours, demonstrating consistent emergency response efforts with an average overall response time of 7 minutes and 38 seconds.

According to a statement issued by the Directorate, emergency medical services accounted for the majority of calls, totaling 1,469 cases. Additionally, personnel handled 107 rescue operations, averaging a response time of 7 minutes and 36 seconds, as well as 28 firefighting incidents with an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds.

The Directorate reaffirmed its continuous readiness to respond to various emergencies around the clock and urged citizens to adhere to safety guidelines and instructions issued by the CDD to help ensure public safety.
