Amman, April 23 (Petra) – Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi said on Wednesday Jordan is a state of institutions where the law reigns supreme, and no entity is outside the authority and power of the state, whose people stand united against any actions that undermine national security.

He stressed that the Lower House supports all steps announced by the Minister of Interior to safeguard the Kingdom's security and stability in the face of "suspicious attempts directed from abroad that seek to undermine the Kingdom's security and serve suspicious schemes and agendas."

"Jordan will remain strong and steadfast despite challenges, which will only increase its resolve and determination to pursue national building with the hands of Jordanians and their national choice, stemming from a desire to keep our internal front united and impervious to all malicious attempts to tamper with it, he said."
