55/ Joint military drill with US concludes
Amman, April 23 (Petra) - The joint Jordanian-US military drill, Jade Chameleon 25.2, concluded on Wednesday. The exercise, carried out by the King Hussein bin Ali Brigade and the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces Command, along with the US Army, was held at a designated training ground in the presence of the Commander of the King Hussein bin Ali Brigade and the Assistant Commander of the US task force Spartan. The drill, including combat scenarios and clearing built-up areas, was carried out by the troops using various types of weapons. The two-week drill aimed to exchange expertise among participating forces in planning, implementation, and decision-making, to enhance their capabilities, develop military competencies, raise their readiness to deal with security threats and challenges, and achieve the highest levels of efficiency and professionalism. Participants, including female personnel, demonstrated skill and high precision in performing tasks in all stages of the exercise. Such drills are part of the training plans carried out by the Jordan Armed Forces to maintain combat readiness of units and enhance their ability to address various challenges. //Petra//SS
