  58/ Army chief, German Joint Forces commander talk cooperation 

Amman, April 23 (Petra) - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, discussed with Commander of German Joint Forces, Lit. Gen. Alexander Sollfrank, and his accompanying delegation, ways to enhance bilateral relations and military cooperation between the two friendly countries' armed forces.

During a meeting held at General Command of Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) on Wednesday, Huneiti and Sollfrank also went over exchange of expertise in the training fields and efforts to address security challenges at the regional and international levels.

Huneiti underlined "deep-rooted" strategic relations between the two friendly armies, stressing and the importance of strengthening military cooperation by opening "new" horizons for partnership in various military fields.

Meanwhile, Sollfrank praised the JAF's current development and modernization steps, stressing his commitment to continuing military cooperation with the JAF to achievE security and stability.

A number of senior JAF officers and German Defense Attaché in Amman attended the meeting.
