Madaba, April 23 (Petra) – The German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Australian University in Kuwait (AUK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday in Kuwait to foster collaboration in education, scientific research, and knowledge exchange.

According to a statement by GJU, the agreement was signed by GJU President Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli and AUK President Issam Zabalawi, with the aim of expanding international partnerships and enhancing academic excellence.

The MoU outlines the establishment of strategic partnerships, including the exchange of academic and administrative staff, the organization of short academic programs, joint workshops and conferences, and cooperation in quality assurance and international rankings.

It also promotes student exchange through study abroad programs, practical training opportunities, and participation in academic competitions, while supporting innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Both Al-Halhouli and Zabalawi affirmed their commitment to fostering high-level cooperation and coordination in the implementation of joint programs in a manner that contributes to advancing education and improving research capabilities.
