Amman, April 25 (Petra) – Aouni Daoud has been elected Deputy President of the Jordan Press Association (JPA), winning 365 votes in Friday’s ballot held at Al-Hussein Youth City.

The results were announced by head of the JPA Electoral Committee, Mohammad Al-Tall, following the official count.

Daoud topped a field of four candidates, with Nader Khatatbeh receiving 214 votes, Jamal Shtaiwi 178, and Ayman Majali 114.
