Amman, April 25 (Petra) – The Jordan Press Association's election committee on Friday evening announced the names of the nine journalists elected to the association’s council.

The elected members and their respective vote counts are as follows:
- Mohammad Al-Zayoud – 474 votes
- Rushdi Al-Qaraleh – 394 votes
- Sami Al-Harbi – 343 votes
- Rashed Al-Rawashdeh – 329 votes
- Mohammad Al-Fuqaha – 324 votes
- Rashed Al-Assaf – 316 votes
- Mowaffaq Kamal – 314 votes
- Khetam Al-Shoubaki – 312 votes
- Ali Freihat – 310 votes
