Gaza Strip, April 26 (Petra) -- Gaza hospitals received 56 dead bodies and 108 injured people in the last 24 hours in the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Saturday.

That took to 51,495 the death toll from the war Israel launched on October 7, 2023, and the total number of injuries rose to 117,524, it said in its latest update of casualties.

Among those are 2,111 people who were killed and 5,483 injured since Israel ended a ceasefire on March 18, the ministry said, adding that many victims were under the rubble and on the streets inaccessible by ambulances.
