Amman, April 27 (Petra) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi welcomed the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, who is on an official visit to Jordan that began on Sunday.

The discussions focused on strengthening the ties between Jordan and Iraq, enhancing cooperation across various sectors with Kurdistan Region and addressing the broader regional situation.

During his visit, Barzani had a meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II.
