Amman, April 28 (Petra) – Senator Khaled Al-Kalaldeh, Chair of the Senate Committee on Freedoms and Citizens’ Rights, took part in a high-level seminar organized by the Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group (GSM) and the Committee on Economics and Security (ESD), currently underway in Antalya, Turkiye.

In remarks shared Monday by the Lower House of Parliament, Al-Kalaldeh highlighted Jordan’s influential role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in championing the Palestinian cause and defending the rights of the Palestinian people on the global stage.

He also spoke about the pressing economic and security challenges facing Jordan and the wider region, stressing the need for stronger regional cooperation and the development of unified strategies to address both emerging and long-term threats.
