Amman, April 28 (Petra) – Head of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, MP Khaled Abu Hassan, said on Monday that there will be no tax raise under the draft buildings and lands legislation the Lower House will debate in the next session.

"The draft will not affect taxpayers or hike taxes, but rather will see a reduction, as pledged by the prime minister and the House," he said.

He said agreement has been reached with the government to open dialogue with all sectors in the coming months to clarify the provisions of the draft law and remove any ambiguities.
