Gaza, April 28 (Petra) -- Israel killed 71 Palestinians, including 14 recovered from beneath the rubble, and 153 others injured, in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday.

In its daily statistical report on casualties resulting from ongoing Israeli aggression, the ministry noted that several victims remain trapped under rubble and inaccessible to ambulances and civil defence teams.

The death toll from the Israeli actions since October 7, 2023, has now reached 52,314, with 117,792 reported injuries.

The ministry highlighted that since March 18, Israel killed 2,222 and injured 5,751.
