35/ Jordan promotes tourism at Algeria’s SIAHA International Travel Fair
Amman, April 28 (Petra) The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), in cooperation with Royal Jordanian Airlines, participated in the SIAHA International Tourism, Travel, and Transport Fair held in Oran, Algeria, from April 23 to 26. According to a statement by the JTB on Monday, the participation comes as part of ongoing efforts to market Jordan as a global tourism destination. The exhibition is one of Algeria’s premier tourism events, attracting companies and organizations from the tourism and aviation sectors worldwide. JTB Director General Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, said the Algerian market shows a growing interest in the diverse tourism experiences offered by Jordan. He emphasized that the participation is an important step toward strengthening tourism ties between the two countries, highlighting Jordan’s rich portfolio of tourist attractions catering to the Algerian traveler’s interests. Arabiyat added that Jordan’s presence at the exhibition this year reaffirms the kingdom’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the Algerian market, which is considered an important source for Jordanian tourism. Visitors to the Jordanian pavilion showed strong interest in the kingdom’s wide array of tourism products, including medical, wellness, religious, and historical tourism offerings.
