Fayez underlined "deep-rooted" bilateral relations, voicing ASEZA's "keenness" to build international partnerships that support "sustainable" development, noting Aqaba represents an "advanced" development model, in terms of economic integration and "promising" investment opportunities.

Fayez presented the ASEZA's key vital projects and achievements, mainly in the tourism, economic, and investment sectors, as well as developments in the hotel sector and the increasing number of visitors, referring to the port city's hotel capacity that enhance Aqaba's position as a "major" commercial gateway on the Red Sea and an "integrated" regional logistics center.

These projects, he noted, are "strategic" enterprises that contribute to enhancing Jordan's water security and integrating transportation infrastructure, opening "new" horizons for regional and international cooperation, and strengthening Aqaba's position as an "integrated" logistics hub.

Meanwhile, the envoy expressed appreciation for the efforts made in Aqaba, expressing his country's interest in expanding cooperation areas with ASEZA and supporting "major" projects within its "strategic and comprehensive" master plans.
