Amman, April 29 (Petra) – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on Tuesday that her country supports Arab efforts to develop a credible reconstruction plan for the Gaza Strip.

Speaking to the press at the conclusion of her summit with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an in Rome, Meloni also affirmed Italy’s support for Arab initiatives aimed at achieving lasting peace and security in the region. She described the situation in Gaza as "increasingly tragic."
