Moscow, April 29 (Petra) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Tuesday that Moscow is prepared to engage in direct negotiations with Ukraine without preconditions to resolve the ongoing military conflict.

Speaking at a press conference, Lavrov stated, "We have proposed the start of direct negotiations without preconditions. We view a ceasefire, under such circumstances, as a temporary condition likely to be exploited to increase support for the Kyiv regime and boost its military capabilities, potentially leading to the collapse of any agreement."
