  24/ Princess Sumaya University, Kuwait College of Science and Technology sign memo cooperation

Amman, August 19 (Petra) – Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) and Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthening academic and research collaboration.

The agreement was signed on Tuesday by PSUT President Wijdan Abu Al Haija and KCST President Khaled Baqain and includes provisions for the exchange of students and faculty, as well as joint organisation of seminars, conferences and collaborative research activities.

In a statement issued by PSUT Abu Al Haija highlighted the importance of international cooperation in higher education, affirming the university's commitment to expanding its global academic partnerships to better serve students and society.

She emphasised PSUT's continuous efforts to foster a dynamic educational and research environment aligned with modern advancements.

Baqain expressed pride in the partnership, noting that the MoU would enrich the academic experience and enhance research capabilities at both institutions.

He added that the collaboration opens the door to greater engagement in advanced technological fields, which are critical to the region's future development.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to developing strategic partnerships in scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on cutting-edge areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, data analytics, communications and emerging technologies.

The agreement encourages cooperation in applied research projects, the exchange of academic and technical expertise and joint initiatives that support sustainable development and community service across the region.
