40/ Military attachés visit King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center
Amman, Aug 19 (Petra) – Several accredited military attachés to Jordan visited the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) Tuesday, in coordination with the Directorate of the General Command Office. They were received by the center’s director and a number of officers. During the visit, the delegation received a briefing on the center’s operations and its advanced training capabilities in counter-terrorism, special operations, and joint military training. The center’s director said in a statement that KASOTC represents a distinguished military institution and a unique model of excellence and innovation in specialized military training. He added that the visit provides an opportunity to strengthen military cooperation and exchange expertise in addressing modern security challenges, emphasizing that realistic, field-based training is the best way to hone skills, enhance discipline, and boost the morale of personnel. The delegation toured the center’s facilities, including specialized training fields, praising its advanced level and prominent role in preparing and qualifying special forces at both regional and international levels. At the conclusion of the visit, the Director of the General Command Office presented commemorative gifts to some of the attachés, highlighting the importance of cooperation and communication between military attachés and the Jordan Armed Forces. //Petra// AF
