Amman, Aug 23 (Petra) – More than 15,600 people in Gaza, including 3,800 children, are in need of medical evacuation for specialized care, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Saturday.

In a post on the X platform, Tedros called for scaling up evacuations from Gaza to more countries and facilitating the entry of aid to save lives and deliver life-saving care. He reiterated his appeal for a ceasefire in Gaza.
