Amman, Aug. 24 (Petra) -- The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Sunday implemented an airdrop operation to deliver aid to Gaza, with the participation of Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft, alongside airplanes from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia.

Nearly 41 tonnes of food and relief aid were delivered to Gaza, according to an army statement.

This raises to 162 the number of airdrops conducted by the JAF since 27 July, while total airdrops conducted with international partners reached 392.

A total of 791 tonnes of humanitarian aid have been airdropped by Jordan’s air force since then.
