  22/ JD5m reimbursed for university students over current academic year-Ministry

Amman, August 24 (Petra) -Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Sunday announced completion of the dues disbursement for eligible students to receive scholarships or loans from the Student Support Fund (STF) for the academic year 2024-2025, with a total amount of JD5 million.

In a statement, the ministry stated payments covered amounts of the candidate students to receive partial scholarships or loans for the Bacheolor's stage, amounting to 45 credit hours.

Under this procedure, students must have paid the fees for the second and summer semesters of the 2023-2024 academic year in cash at the University of Jordan and Al al-Bayt University.

The disbursement also targeted Bachelor's beneficiaries, who paid fees for the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

In this context, the ministry cited the University of Jordan, the University of Jordan/Aqaba Branch, the University of Science and Technology, the Hashemite University, the Tafila Technical University, and the Balqa Applied University in various colleges nationwide.

The minsitry added that the same procedure was applied to other public universities nationwide.

As for the intermediate diploma stage, benefits were paid to eligible students nominated to obtain partial scholarships, completed 45 credit hours, and paid fees for the 2nd semester of 2024-2025 at Tafila Technical University, Al-Balqa Applied University and its colleges.
