During a full working day that included a series of specialized meetings, the two sides reviewed a number of investment-related issues. The meetings also featured the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Jordan Investment Fund and Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund to formalize avenues of cooperation and strengthen joint investment partnerships. He said the King had instructed Jordanian institutions to benefit from the experience of the Indonesian sovereign wealth fund "Danantara" and to develop mechanisms of cooperation that open new investment avenues, support growth and create jobs in a manner that serves shared interests and adds value to both the Jordanian and Indonesian economies. The minister stressed the importance of building on the strong relationship established by the Hashemite leadership between Jordan and Indonesia in support of government efforts to provide an enabling environment for major projects that serve the economy and open broad development opportunities across all governorates and sectors. Abu Ghazaleh outlined key projects and available opportunities, along with Jordan’s competitive advantages and investment incentives, including qualified human resources, natural wealth, strategic location and international economic partnerships, within a secure operating environment and the economic and political stability the Kingdom enjoys. The working day included expanded meetings attended by Minister of Public Works and Housing Maher Abul Samen, Minister of Transport Nidal Katamine, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat, and several officials, specialists and executives. Roeslani said the meeting reflects the depth of the close ties between Jordan and Indonesia and lays the foundation for a new stage of partnership based on the exchange of expertise and expanding cooperation across promising sectors. He added that the signing of the cooperation agreement represents a practical step toward translating the strategic relations between the two countries' leaderships into joint investment projects that serve both nations. He affirmed Indonesia’s keenness to benefit from feasible cooperation opportunities and to enhance the Indonesian fund’s investment presence in Jordan through partnerships that deliver mutual benefit. //Petra// AF
