The agreement aims to support cancer patients from Gaza by covering treatment costs at the King Hussein Cancer Center, in addition to providing psychological and social support services to patients and their families, contributing to alleviating the psychological burdens associated with the treatment process.

Princess Ghida said the State of Qatar is among the largest supporters of humanitarian causes worldwide, with a longstanding record of providing assistance to patients and people affected by conflicts and disasters. She added that the King Hussein Cancer Center is proud of its established partnership with the Qatar Fund for Development.

The agreement was signed by Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development Fahad bin Hamad Sulaiti and Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation Nisreen Qatamish.

The cooperation reflects Jordan’s and Qatar’s commitment to supporting regional stability and achieving sustainable development that addresses the needs of vulnerable groups.
