19/ PM welcomes Indian counterpart upon arrival on working visit
Amman, Dec 15 (Petra) – Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Monday welcomed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the start of a working visit to Jordan. Modi was accorded an official ceremony at Queen Alia International Airport, where he was greeted by a guard of honor as a band played the national anthems of the two countries. Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Ya'rub Qudah, who led the honor delegation, and Amman Governor Yasser Adwan were present to welcome the Indian leader. "It is an honor to welcome Prime Minister Modi to Jordan today, as a valued guest, in a visit that reflects seventy-five years of close and enduring relations. We look forward to broader horizons of cooperation between our two countries, particularly in the economic, investment, and technological fields," Hassan wrote on X. //Petra//SS
