38/ Modi Says Jordan Visit "Highly Fruitful," Hails Stronger Bilateral Partnership
Amman, Dec 16 (Petra) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi published on his account on "X" excerpts from his two-day visit to the Kingdom, which concluded on Tuesday. In a post at the end of the visit, Modi wrote, "My visit to Jordan has been immensely productive. I thank His Majesty King Abdullah II and the people of Jordan for their exceptional friendship. Our discussions have strengthened the India-Jordan partnership across key areas such as renewable energy, water management, digital transformation, cultural exchanges and heritage cooperation." "The outcomes we have achieved together will open new avenues for progress and prosperity for our citizens," he added "Am also thankful to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II for coming to the airport as I leave Jordan," modi further added. Commenting on his visit to the Jordan Museum, Modi said, "Grateful to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II for showing me different aspects of Jordan's history and culture at The Jordan Museum." Following talks with His Majesty the King at Al Husseiniya Palace on Monday, Modi wrote, "Held productive discussions with His Majesty King Abdullah II in Amman. His personal commitment towards vibrant India-Jordan relations is noteworthy. This year, we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of our bilateral diplomatic relations. This milestone will continue to inspire us to move forward with renewed energy in the times ahead. He added, "Shared an 8-point vision to further deepen ties with Jordan.
