  2/ Relatively Cold Weather to Persist Through Wednesday

Amman, Dec. 21 (Petra) -- Relatively cold weather is expected on Sunday across most regions of the Kingdom, while temperatures will be mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

High-altitude clouds will appear, and southeasterly winds will blow at moderate speeds, occasionally becoming active.

The Jordan Meteorological Department reported that the same weather pattern will continue through Wednesday, with relatively cold conditions prevailing in most areas and mild temperatures in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High-level clouds are expected, accompanied by light southeasterly winds.

Temperatures on Sunday are forecast to range between 16 and 10 C in eastern Amman, and between 14 and 8 C in western Amman. In the northern highlands, temperatures will range from 14 to 6 C, while the Sharah highlands will record between 16 and 3 C.

In the Badia regions, temperatures are expected to range from 17 to 4 C, and in the plains from 17 to 9 C. The northern Jordan Valley will see temperatures between 23 and 12 C, and the southern Jordan Valley between 25 and 16 C.

Temperatures at the Dead Sea are forecast to range from 23 to 14 C, while Aqaba will record between 23 and 13 C.
