23/ Energy: Global oil derivative prices decline
Amman, December 23 (Petra) – Global prices of oil derivatives declined during the third week of December compared with the second week, according to the weekly bulletin issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The bulletin showed that the price of 95-octane gasoline fell from $680 to $644 per ton, a decrease of 5.3%. Prices of 90-octane gasoline dropped from $662 to $634 per ton, marking a decline of 4.2%. Diesel prices declined, with the average price falling from $598 to $569 per ton, a decrease of 4.8%. Similarly, the average price of kerosene dropped from $656 to $626 per ton, representing a 4.6% decrease. Fuel oil prices recorded a slight decline, edging down from $334 to $333 per ton, a decrease of 0.3%. In contrast, the average price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose from $464 to $488 per ton, an increase of 5.2%. Meanwhile, the average price of Brent crude oil fell from $63 to $61 per barrel, a decrease of 3.2%. //Petra// AK
