33/ Energy Ministry: Global gasoline, diesel, kerosene prices down in February
Amman, Feb 9 (Petra) -- Global gasoline, diesel and kerosene prices dropped in the first week of February, compared to January prices, according to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources' weekly bulletin. 90-octane gasoline average price was down from $717 per ton to $715, or 0.3 percent, and 95-octane gas dropped from $740 per ton to $732, 1 percent, according to the ministry's figures. Diesel price dropped from $688 per ton to $665, or 3 percent, kerosene was down from $722 per ton to $715, 1 percent, and fuel oil was up from $474 per ton to $481, 2 percent, the figures showed. The average price of liquefied petroleum gas rose in February to $628, compared to the January price of $618, or 2 percent, the bulletin showed.
