21/ GFJTU reiterates role to protect worker rights
Amman, March 12 (Petra) – Executive Office of the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions (GFJTU) discussed the proposed administrative and human resources structure included in federation's strategic plan. According to a GFJTU statement, its President Khaled Fanatseh reviewed the progress made in implementing the federation's plan and goals. In a meeting held on Wednesday, Fanatsheh said the GFJTU aims to achieve this vision in its capacity as a labor union representing the Kingdom's workers, defending their rights, and working to provide a decent working environment for all. GFJTU Human Resources Planning and Management Expert Mona Hakouz highlighted axes of its functional structure and governance to the Executive Office members. Amal Mowafi, International Labor Organization (ILO) Office Coordinator in Jordan and Resident Director of Jordan Office, Sven Schwersensky attended the meeting. //Petra// AG
