27/ Israeli assault on Jenin enters day 51

Ramallah, March 12 (Petra) – The Israeli assault on Jenin and its refugee camp in the occupied West Bank has entered its 51st day, resulting in the deaths of 34 Palestinians and leaving dozens injured, while Israeli forces continued their destruction of infrastructure in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, on Wednesday.

According to a statement by the Qabatiya Municipal Council, Israeli bulldozers razed streets in the town, including Jerusalem Square and Café Street, and destroyed the main water pipeline supplying the area.

In a separate development, Israeli forces demolished a home in the city of Qalqilya, belonging to the family of martyr Ali Mahmoud Khalil, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

Ali Khalil was killed in August 2024 when an Israeli airstrike targeted his vehicle on the Zaita-Atteel road north of Tulkarm.
