  2/ Warm Weather Expected Across Most Regions in Coming Days

Amman, March 13 (Petra) -- Warm and sunny conditions will prevail across most parts of the kingdom on Thursday, with higher temperatures in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, according to a report by the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Winds will be moderate southeasterly, occasionally becoming active.

The report said similar weather is expected on Friday, with high-altitude clouds appearing in some areas. Winds will remain moderate southeasterly, occasionally becoming active in desert regions.

On Saturday, temperatures are forecast to rise slightly, exceeding seasonal averages by 9-11 C. The weather on both Saturday and Sunday will be generally warm, with moderate easterly winds.

The report added that today's maximum and minimum temperatures will range between 24 C and 13 C in East Amman, 22 C and 12 C in West Amman, 20 C and 11 C in the northern highlands, and 19 C and 10 C in the Sharah highlands. In desert areas, temperatures will vary between 25 C and 12 C, while in the plains, they will range from 24 C to 13 C.

In the Jordan Valley, maximum temperatures will reach 32 C in the north and 33 C in the south, with minimum temperatures at 16 C and 21 C, respectively. The Dead Sea will see temperatures between 32 C and 20 C, while the Gulf of Aqaba will record highs of 33 C and lows of 21 C.
