Gaza Strip, March 15 (Petra) -- Nine Palestinians were killed and an unknown number injured on Saturday in Israeli shelling that targeted charitable workers in Beit Lahya in the Northern Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian sources.

They said Israeli forces shelled a group working with a charity, cameramen and a journalist in Beit Lahya, leaving nine dead.

The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed in a preliminary count that 9 bodies and a number of injuries, including some in a critical condition, arrived at the Indonesian Hospital.
