15/ Palestinian Journalists Syndicate Condemns Israeli Attack That Killed 4 Journalists in Gaza

Gaza, March 15 (Petra) – The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) strongly condemned Israel’s latest attack on journalists and humanitarian workers on Saturday, which resulted in the killing of four journalists following a direct strike on a vehicle belonging to the Al-Khair Relief Organization. The attack also claimed the lives of nine other humanitarian workers from the same team.

In a statement, the PJS denounced this brutal crime, describing it as part of Israel’s deliberate targeting of Palestinian journalists, who are being killed for exposing Israeli violations to the world.

The syndicate reaffirmed that journalism is not a crime, emphasizing that Palestinian media professionals will continue their mission to document Israel’s actions until the Palestinian people achieve their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.

It also warned of an ongoing systematic campaign aimed at silencing journalists through targeted killings and attacks, in an effort to prevent media coverage of Israel’s continued assaults on civilians. The statement stressed that such repeated violations constitute war crimes and a clear breach of international law, particularly the Geneva Conventions, which protect journalists during armed conflicts.
