Amman, March 15 (Petra) – The Jordan Bar Association (JBA) opened nominations on Saturday for its upcoming elections, scheduled to take place at the end of May.

On the first day of the nomination period, four lawyers submitted their candidacy for the position of Bar Association president: Khaldoun Nsour, incumbent Yahya Abu Aboud, Rami Shawawra, and Ashraf Zoubi.

Additionally, 44 other lawyers announced their candidacy for the association’s council, which consists of 10 seats.
