Amman, March 15 (Petra) – Firefighting teams from the Central Amman Civil Defense Directorate, supported by the East Amman Directorate and the police, successfully extinguished a fire on Saturday that consumed three warehouses containing wedding supplies, including wooden tables and chairs. The total area affected was approximately 400 cubic meters in the Al-Muqabaleen area.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesperson stated that firefighting crews quickly responded to the scene, where thick smoke was rising due to the nature of the burning materials. The fire was fully extinguished and contained, preventing its spread to neighboring warehouses and shops without any loss of life.

He added that dozens of specialized operational Civil Defense vehicles and a large number of personnel participated in the firefighting efforts. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
