Amman, March 16 (Petra) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar on Sunday evening of his decision to propose his dismissal during an upcoming government meeting, the Prime Minister’s Office announced.

According to Israel’s Channel 12, Netanyahu cited a growing lack of trust over time as the reason behind his decision.

Israel's Channel 14 reported that Netanyahu is set to convene a special government session on Wednesday to approve the dismissal.
