Brussels, March 17 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi met on Monday with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Shaibani ahead of the ninth Brussels Conference in Support of Syria.

The discussions focused on the situation in Syria, with Safadi underscoring Jordan’s steadfast commitment to supporting Syria’s reconstruction on principles that safeguard its security, territorial integrity, and the rights of the Syrian people.

The two ministers also explored ways to enhance cooperation in various sectors, including energy, trade, transportation, and security.
