12/ Al-Taamari Joins National Team Training Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers
Amman, March 18 (Petra) – Jordanian professional footballer Musa Al-Taamari, who plays for French club Rennes, has joined the national team's training camp in preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Palestine on Thursday and South Korea on March 25. Al-Taamari took part in Monday’s training session under the guidance of Moroccan coach Jamal Sellami, with the team now fully assembled except for Ali Alwan, who is sidelined with a knee injury. Fans are placing high hopes on Al-Taamari to play a pivotal role in securing victories alongside his teammates. All overseas-based players have reported for training as Jordan prepares to host Palestine at Amman International Stadium before traveling to face South Korea. Jordan currently sits third in Group B with 9 points, trailing South Korea (14 points) and Iraq (11 points), while Oman (6 points), Kuwait (4 points), and Palestine (3 points) round out the standings.
