Irbid, Mar. 18 (Petra) – 14 people suffered suffocation on Tuesday after a house caught fire in North Shuna area, which was put out by Civil Defense personnel, west of northern Irbid governorate.

In a statement Tuesday, Director of Muath Bin Jabal Governmental Hospital, Osama Abu Sneineh, said the emergency ward dealt with injury cases after inhaling gases and smoke.

Abu Sneineh noted all the injured received the necessary care and were discharged from the hospital, with the exception of "two moderately" cases, who were admitted for additional medical observation.
