In a statement on Sunday, the Council said the congress aimed to promote sustainable human development through themes such as investment in lifelong learning and digital skills, ensuring equal access to education and employment, and enhancing health and social justice by expanding universal health coverage and addressing the social determinants of health, with a focus on protecting the most vulnerable groups. The statement added that the congress highlighted the empowerment of all generations, encouraging healthy and productive aging, strengthening social cohesion through culture and sports, and addressing global challenges including migration, environmental change, and population fragility by adopting innovative, knowledge-based solutions. Congress recommendations were organized into three key themes.
