Amman, Nov. 30 (Petra) -- A Jordanian parliamentary delegation has wrapped up a working visit to Serbia, which centered on examining avenues of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in parliamentary and economic areas. The delegation included Chairman of the Parliamentary Public Services and Transport Committee Ayman Al-Badadwah, MPs Mohammad Al-Mahamid, Nabil Al-Shishani, Jihad Madanat, Rania Abu Roman, Tayseer Abu Orabi, and Abdelraouf Rabeehat. According to Al-Badadwah, the visit included a series of meetings with Serbian officials to discuss infrastructure development and economic cooperation. He said the discussions produced outcomes that are expected to benefit Jordan in the coming period. During the visit, an agreement was reached to allow holders of Jordanian diplomatic passports to enter Serbia without a visa, pending completion of procedures through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Steps were also taken to advance the launch of a direct flight between Amman and Belgrade starting next April, with a Royal Jordanian delegation scheduled to visit Serbia to finalize arrangements. The Government of Belgrade also invited the Ministry of Transport to participate in the preparatory conference for the upcoming Expo exhibition and to review developments in railways and transport technology. Al-Badadwah said cooperation will also be explored in medical and religious tourism, in addition to discussions regarding the reopening of the Jordanian Embassy in Belgrade. //Petra// RZ
