44/ Ma'an Government Service Center Processes Over 5,000 Licensing Transactions
Ma’an, Nov. 30 (Petra) – The Government Service Center in Ma’an Governorate has completed 5,086 transactions related to driver and vehicle licensing services from the start of this year through the end of September, according to official data from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. The ministry reported that the most requested services during this period were vehicle technical inspections (third category) with 2,201 transactions, followed by vehicle license renewals at accredited licensing centers with 1,989 transactions, and driving license inquiries with 440 transactions. Other services accounted for 456 transactions. The Ma’an center provides 14 integrated services for driver and vehicle licensing and operates every day except Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Electronic payment is available through the "e-Fawateercom" system to facilitate procedures for citizens. On average, the center processes about 24 licensing services daily, highlighting the role of government service centers in bringing services closer to citizens and simplifying access from a single location. The ministry emphasized that citizens can now complete both the technical inspection and license renewal for their vehicles in one place, within minutes from inspection to license issuance, eliminating the need to visit the licensing department separately, thereby saving time, effort, and costs. Through comprehensive government service centers, the ministry continues to provide high-quality services that meet citizens’ needs, supporting government initiatives to enhance quality of life and improve customer satisfaction. //Petra// AF
