43/ Jordan, Oman Conclude Joint Special Forces Drill "Tiger 16"
Amman, Oct. 7 (Petra) – The joint Jordanian-Omani military exercise "Tiger 16" concluded on Tuesday at the Special Forces and Counter-terrorism Training Ward of the Prince Hashem bin Al Hussein School for Special Operations Training. The exercise was carried out by the 71st Special Battalion in cooperation with Oman’s Sultan’s Special Force/75, in the presence of Brigadier General Salim bin Saeed bin Surour, Deputy Commander of the Sultan’s Special Force, and the Commander of the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces. The exercise featured activities including urban assault drills, sniper shooting, helicopter rappelling, and open-field live firing, during which participants demonstrated high precision and skill in executing various operations. The exercise comes within the framework of training plans aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Jordanian Armed Forces and those of brotherly and friendly countries through joint planning and operational exercises to confront potential security threats. //Petra// AF
