Amman, Oct. 7 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday received an Omani military delegation led by Brig. Gen. Staff Salem bin Saeed bin Surour, Deputy Commander of the Sultan’s Special Force and Senior Staff Officer, at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and military cooperation between the two brotherly countries and to further develop them across areas of mutual interest.

Maj. Gen. Huneiti underscored the importance of enhancing partnership and maintaining continuous coordination in various fields to serve the shared interests of both nations. He stressed that military cooperation between the two armies forms a key pillar in supporting regional security and stability.

For his part, the Omani officer expressed appreciation for the significant role of the Jordan Armed Forces, particularly in training, capacity-building, and the exchange of expertise, emphasizing the importance of furthering joint cooperation between the two sides.
