Amman, Oct. 7 (Petra) -- Border Guard forces in the Eastern Military Zone thwarted an armed infiltration attempt early Tuesday morning by three individuals attempting to illegally cross the Kingdom’s border.

Upon detecting the infiltration, the rules of engagement were applied, leading to an exchange of fire that resulted in the death of the three armed individuals.
