  2/ Autumn Weather to Persist with Light Clouds Through Midweek

Amman, Oct. 12 (Petra) -- Pleasant autumn weather will linger over most regions in the coming days, bringing mild daytime temperatures, cool evenings, and scattered clouds through Wednesday, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

On Sunday, the weather will be mild across most areas and moderate around the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low clouds appearing at intervals. Light rain showers may fall late in the day over parts of the north, while northwesterly winds blow at a moderate speed, occasionally picking up.

Monday will bring similar conditions; mild and partly cloudy, with steady northwesterly winds.

Tuesday will see a slight rise in temperatures, keeping conditions comfortable in most regions and turning relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Easterly winds will be light to moderate.

By Wednesday, the weather will remain mild and stable, with light northwesterly breezes and scattered low clouds drifting across the sky.

Temperature readings for Sunday show highs and lows of 25 and 15 degrees Celsius in East Amman, 23 and 13 in West Amman, 21 and 13 in the northern highlands, and 22 and 11 in the Sharah highlands.

In desert areas, temperatures will range between 27 and 15 degrees, while the plains are expected to record 25 and 15 degrees. The northern Jordan Valley will see 31 and 19 degrees, compared to 33 and 21 degrees in the southern Jordan Valley.

Around the Dead Sea, temperatures will reach 32 and 20 degrees, and 31 and 21 degrees in Aqaba.
