Beirut, April 6 (Petra) -- An Israeli airstrike targeted paramedics of the Islamic Health Society in the town of Haris Bint Jbeil district, on Monday, killing two and critically injuring a third, Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said.

In a statement, the ministry condemned Israel's systematic attacks on Lebanon’s health sector, saying such actions underline a refusal to comply with international and humanitarian laws on protection of healthcare workers in conflict zones.
