20/ PM: 'My responsibility is to ensure development occurs in every site I visit'
Amman, April 6 (Petra) – Prime Minister Jafar Hassan said Monday he is satisfied with his tour of the governorates of Ma'an, Karak, and the Southern Jordan Valley, including schools in Ma'an Governorate that have undergone expansions and upgrades, part of plans to revamp educational infrastructure. He wrote on X that he revisited schools which saw complete expansion and modernization, as well as the construction of a new school built to the highest standards, with a capacity for about 800 students, which will welcome students at the start of the next academic term. These projects, he said, are part of the corporate social responsibility initiative launched last year by the government in partnership with the private sector, which aims to build 100 schools across the Kingdom in two years to improve the educational environment and ease overcrowding. "What I heard from the students and teachers is heartening, and it confirms the impact of these field visits on improving services to citizens across all governorates," wrote Hassan. "I thank every teacher who contributed to this effort to improve their school environment. It is my responsibility and duty to ensure that every site I visit sees positive change and improvement, and this is an approach we will continue in service to citizens throughout our beloved country," he said. //Petra//SS
